Administrative

Administrative Volunteers at CWHC help with a number of different tasks such as data entry, filing, art projects and more. We ask Admin Volunteers to make a commitment of 2 hours a week for at least 6 months. CWHC can utilize a variety of skills and we can work to develop a schedule that works with yours within our business hours of 9am-4pm, Monday through Thursday.

Our Administrative Volunteer program is currently at capacity, but if you'd like to be added to our volunteers wait list, please email our Communications and Volunteer Coordinator, Kaylie Engel, via email.

Integrative Health

Integrative Health Volunteers provide sensitive, client-centered massage therapy and/or bodywork services to CWHC clients. In recognition of the range of needs of our clients, we are committed to building our integrative health services, including offering massage and bodywork of all modalities.

We are currently looking for volunteer acupuncturists and bodyworkers to donate their time and services to our clients.

If you are interested, please email our Communications and Volunteer Coordinator, Kaylie Engel, via email.

Counseling

CWHC’s Counseling Program engages with the impact of trauma and systems of oppression such as racism, ableism, classism, fatphobia, transphobia, and homophobia. Counselors include licensed staff members, clinical interns, and volunteer counselors donating their time.

We are currently looking for Direct Service and Counseling Committee volunteers to donate at least 4 hours of service per month.

If you are a mental health professional (social worker, counselor, psychologist, etc.) and would like to learn more about volunteering, please contact our Counseling staff via email.

Special Skills

CWHC is grateful for professionals in finance, law, marketing, health care, and other fields that improve our systems and support the progress of our programs.

If you have special skills in other areas that you would like to donate, please reach out to Kaylie Engel, our Communications and Volunteer Coordinator, Kaylie Engel, via email.

We ask that those who have received counseling at CWHC wait two years before volunteering with us, in order to protect client confidentiality and to preserve the boundaries of the client/counselor relationship.
