Staff Counselor: Group Focus

CWHC is hiring a new member of our Counseling team!

The Staff Counselor: Group Focus provides counseling services using a feminist-relational framework, helps shape and support the Counseling program, and participates in a nearly 50-year-old feminist collective. We are looking for candidates who align closely with the mission of Chicago Women’s Health Center and who can join us in clinical work as well as strategic visioning and planning for the future.

As a member of CWHC’s Counseling Committee, the Staff Counselor will maintain a caseload of 3-4 groups per year and some individual counseling clients; consult with other counselors and programs to facilitate integrative care; and help support CWHC’s health services and culture. By adding to the number of full-time counselors at CWHC, the new Staff Counselor will increase our Counseling team’s capacity to serve clients and provide mental health care.

The Staff Counselor position is 40 hours/week at $23-$25/hour (rate based on experience). hybrid remote and onsite in Uptown. The person in this position will be considered a full-time collective member of CWHC. Nurse Practitioner

CWHC is looking for a like-valued Nurse Practitioner to join our provider team.

Are you a feminist nurse practitioner? Would you like to be part of a client-centered health care model that allows longer visits with an emphasis on prevention and health education? Is providing care that is fat-positive, trauma-informed and guided by harm-reduction important to you? CWHC has taken part in radical client-centered care for the past 45 plus years.
