Education
Health Education is an important part of our mission. We provide health education through outreach and we prioritize it as an integral part of our visits.
Outreach & Education
CWHC provides workshops, single classes and multi-session classes on women's and adolescent health issues in a variety of settings including schools, community groups and detention centers. Our educational programs focus on health information and access to health care with the goal of empowerment and healthy decision making.
We have a corps of trained Health Educators who are available to present on a wide variety of topics. These topics include:
- gynecological care
- sexually transimitted infections
- safer sex
- contraception
- sexuality
- anatomy
- hygiene
- puberty
- decision making
- body image
- self-esteem

Sex Toy Parties: Adult Sex Education
Have fun and support your favorite health center! Sex Toy Parties are a wonderful opportunity to take a tour through the world of dildos, vibrators and other accoutrements. This tour is guided by CWHC’s very own fun and charming health educators. You will get all of your burning questions answered as well as learn a few tips and tricks!
While this party if a fun educational opportunity, it is also raising money for CWHC! Parties are $75 and are 2 hours in length. For more information or to request a party email our office manager.
